Our History
The vision of HCA’s founders was to establish a nondenominational Christian school to instruct students in grades kindergarten through eighth. In the beginning, HCA served its student population with campuses at; the Alliance Bible Church and First United Methodist of Sylva. As our student population grew so did HCA’s need for campus space; therefore, in 2013 all grades K-8 were moved to the current campus at Webster Baptist Church.
Heritage Christian Academy is an educational institution whose dedication to Christian values, sound Biblical teaching, and high educational standards has been changing the lives of our students for over a decade. Originally founded as Rogers Academy the school was reorganized with a supervising Board of Directors in 2008, the newly formed school was formally named Heritage Christian Academy.
